Easter Egg Nests
with Glad to be Green® 50% Plant Based Reseal BagsThere are few things as delightful (and easier to clean up) than eating food out of other foods! These edible Easter egg nests are adorable, and easy to create using Glad to be Green® Compostable Bake Paper & 50% Plant Based Reseal Bags!
First, line the outside of a cup and tuck the excess paper inside. Place the lined cups upside-down on a lined baking tray.
Next up, melt some chocolate and transfer into a bag with the corner snipped off. Using the bag, squeeze chocolate over the lined cups until you have covered the surface – make sure you include lots of overlapping lines. Hint: the pattern should look delicate, but if it’s too delicate the nests will break easily.
Freeze your nests until they are set. Once hardened, gently remove the paper. Fill your bowls with chocolate eggs, berries, or any other treats!
