Pretzel Nests
with Glad to be Green® Compostable Bake PaperMaking pretzel nests is easy and mess-free with Glad to be Green® Compostable Bake Paper.
First, cut a sheet of bake paper into a square. Next, use a glass to press each square into a muffin tray to hold it in place around the base. This will create a case for you to form your chocolate-coated pretzel nests.
To create your pretzel nests, break sticks into short lengths (about 2-3cm). Melt your chocolate and stir with your sticks until well combined.
Once you’ve coated your pretzel sticks in chocolate, place about 2 teaspoons of the mixture into the bake paper cups using a teaspoon to shape the nests.
Allow them to cool, then pop a few Easter eggs inside each one and freeze to set.
Not only will the cases prevent the chocolate from sticking, but they’re also a handy way to serve up your nests.
Bonus, the paper can be composted when you’ve finished eating them!
